  1. INTRODUCTION

  3. Thank you for evaluating our software product.  This
  4. program is actively being maintained.  The product
  5. was thoroughly tested; however, like all software, some 
  6. minor 'bugs' and irritants will inevitably be uncovered 
  7. with its widespread use.  As coding errors and problems 
  8. are reported to us, we will correct them and we will
  9. release regular updates of the software.  If you 
  10. discover a problem, however small, please let us know 
  11. so that we can fix it. If you send us an emal message, 
  12. we will advise you, if and by when the error can be fixed,
  13. or whether it has already been fixed in the latest version.
  14. Upon registration, a master diskette with the latest 
  15. software will be supplied.

  24. MANUAL, USER GUIDE

  26. If your registered version of the software includes a 
  27. print file of the User Guide (and no printed hard copy),
  28. you can print the manual on any Windows compatible printer.
  29. Open the Windows Write program, open the MANUAL.WRI file
  30. (located in the application's directory), and print the
  31. file.

  35. The TIFF and GIF compression and decompression capabilities 
  36. included in this software are licensed under US Patent 
  37. No 4,558,302 and foreign counterparts.

  44. INSTALLATION AND SETUP
  45.  
  46. 1.  Start Windows.
  47. 2.  Open the Program Manager.
  48. 3.  From the File menu, choose Run.
  49. 4.  In the Command Line type one of the following:
  50.     -  If the software is on a diskette, type A:SETUP
  51.        (assuming your floppy drive is A:).
  52.     -  If the extracted software is on the hard disk,
  53.         type C:\DIRECTORY\SETUP (where DIRECTORY is
  54.         the actual directory that holds the software
  55.         files).
  56. 5.  Choose OK.
  57. 6.  Follow the prompts.

  60. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THE VBRUN300.DLL
  61.  
  62. This program requires the VBRUN300.DLL file. If you 
  63. do not already have this file in your Windows\System 
  64. directory, obtain a free copy of the file from your 
  65. online service, BBS or distributor.

  68. LIMITED WARRANTY

  70. The physical diskette and documentation of this software product is
  71. warranted to be free of defects of materials and workmanship for a
  72. period of 30 days from the date of receipt.  If you notify us of
  73. such a defect within the warranty period, Informnatik Inc will
  74. replace the defective materials at no cost to you.

  98. located in Chester County, Pennsylvania.  The parties hereby
  99. consent to in personam jurisdiction of said courts.

  105. Informatik Inc.  All rights are reserved, and the use of the software
  106. is expressly prohibited, except as authorized by the terms of this
  107. agreement.

  109. Informatik Inc. authorizes you to make archival copies of this
  110. software for the sole purpose of back-up and protecting your investment
  111. from loss.  Under no circumstances may you copy this software or
  112. documentation for the purpose of distribution to others.  Under no
  113. circumstances may you remove the copyright notices made part of the
  114. software or documentation.

  116. The supplied software may be used by one person on as many computer
  117. systems as that person uses.  We expect that group programming projects
  118. making use of this software will purchase a copy of the software and
